Più Forti began in 2020, during Italy’s lockdown. Our creator and director, Denae Downs, wrote a fun Scripture-based song to encourage the kids in our church. She, her husband, and a friend dressed up in silly costumes, danced around, and recorded it—simply hoping to spark joy.

From there, the vision grew. We created ten full music videos—despite having almost no funds to start off with—and wrote an exegetical curriculum with Bible lessons, activities, crafts, and discussion guides. These resources have now been given FREE to over 1,500 churches across Italy.

To our surprise, the kids loved it. They made their own videos, shared them back, and soon homes were filled with laughter and God’s Word. We quickly realized how little high-quality Christian content existed for Italian children. So Denae dreamed bigger—an entire album rooted in Bible verses. That became Più Forti Project 1.

As Project 1 ended, we saw another need: Italian teens had basically NO Christian content made for them. Their daily lives, culture, and challenges are unique, so genuine impact required creating something native to their world.

So we stepped into the digital mission field—the online spaces where Italian teens spend their time every day. And that’s how Più Forti Project 2 was born.

For Project 2, we’ve already produced new music and a full youth group curriculum designed specifically for Italian teens. Now, we’re focused on building out our online presence and are actively filming more music videos to reach and disciple teens where they are.
